Vancouver Was a Great Place to Chill

As this month kicked off, I decided that I needed a vacation. The reason I decided that I needed a vacation was because I had been putting in a lot of time at work. I am not really the type of person who normally makes a decision like this one, but I felt like under the circumstances, it was the right thing for me to do. Upon deciding to follow through with my plan, I started checking around the Internet to see if I could go somewhere without spending a ton of money. It took quite a bit of searching on my part, but after lots of looking, I found a trip I could afford to Vancouver. Because the trip that I discovered was for six days, I knew that would be enough time for me to get away and clear my head.

As a result of this trip being planned at the last minute, I didn’t really have any definite plans for my time in Vancouver. Since the goal of my trip was to feel as free as possible, I decided to go ahead and get a Vancouver car rental for myself. Upon reserving everything, I realized that my trip would begin in just six days.

After stepping off of the plane, I immediately went and got my Vancouver car rental. Because I had already booked my Vancouver car rental, I was able to get it in a matter of minutes. I am happy to report that my trip went extremely well, and it was just what I needed to get all of the stress off of my mind that had been building up.

My Wife Loved Vancouver

Several months before last summer got started, my wife came to me and said that she wanted to take a trip somewhere interesting. I asked her why she wanted to go on a trip, and she said that she had been feeling a little stir crazy recently and really thought it would be good for her to get out of our town for awhile and go somewhere different. Interestingly enough, I had been feeling the exact same way, so it didn’t take me long at all to agree to find a summer vacation for the two of us.

We looked at a lot of potential travel destinations, but we ended up selecting Vancouver. Although neither of us had been there before, we did a lot of reading, and it seemed like that Vancouver had a whole lot to offer.

Fortunately, all of the reading we did was correct, because our week and a half in Vancouver were quite enjoyable. In fact, I think the fact that we had never been there before made our trip even more fun. Since we didn’t know what to expect, we got to Vancouver with no preconceived expectations, and ended up having one of the best trips of our lives!

I’m Glad I Already Have Plans for the Summer

I have a love/hate relationship with summer. On the one hand, I really love the weather and the fact that I can wake up in the morning and go spend a couple of hours laying by the pool. On the other hand, the reason I don’t always like summer is because I live in a college town, and once the Spring semester comes to an end, a large percentage of people go home for the summer, which means that I am stuck with only a small percentage of my friends around. Even though we always have a lot of fun together, I definitely start to miss the rest of my friends by the middle of the summer.

Fortunately, I don’t think this is going to be as much of a problem this summer. The reason is because I am going to be taking a two week vacation in the middle of the summer. I already have arrangements to go to Vancouver in the middle of the summer, which will be a great way to break up any potential monotony. Since I will be gone for a full two weeks, I feel like when I return, I will be happy to be back and will fully enjoy the rest of my summer.

Vancouver is Going to Provide a Chill Spring Break

For the last two years, I have gone and done the crazy Spring Break experience. I had a lot of alcohol and a lot of fun, but now that I’m getting a little bit older (I realize that most people don’t consider twenty-two to be old, but when you are hanging around eighteen year olds who are going crazy, you really start to notice the age difference), I decided that I wanted to switch things up for this Spring Break.

Fortunately for me, several of my closest friends were feeling the exact same way, so we all started brainstorming about where we wanted to go together during our trip. One of my friends suggested Vancouver, and as soon as he did, we all agreed that it sounded like an awesome place to go.

Since I was really excited about going to Vancouver, I took the lead on getting our flight, hotel and Vancouver car rental. We have all agreed that we don’t want to fill our schedule up before our trip, and instead want to explore the city and see what happens while we are there.

Vancouver is a Relaxing Place

To kick off 2009, one of my buddies and I decided that it would be a lot of fun to go to Vancouver for a week. We both had some vacation time at work that we needed to use, and we thought that instead of sitting at home on the couch and watching television for the entire duration of our time off, it would be a whole lot more fun to go take a really cool trip together. Neither of us had ever been to Vancouver before, so it seemed like the perfect place for us to visit.

The thing that impressed me the most about Vancouver is how laid back and friendly everyone was. Even though we had a rental car in Vancouver, we didn’t get a GPS unit with it, so we were stuck using a map for directions. This caused us to get lost on several occasions, and each time that we stopped somewhere for help, the person we talked to would go out of their way to ensure that we got back on the right track. It’s nice to go to other places and see that people can still treat each other well.

I Just Got Back from a Trip to Vancouver

If you would have talked to me a week ago, I would have been talking to you from Vancouver. I just recently got back from a trip to Vancouver, and I have to say that I had a great time there. However, before I arrived in Vancouver, I wasn’t sure if it was a place that I was going to enjoy. Fortunately, my boyfriend eventually convinced me that we would have a lot of fun if we went to Vancouver, so I decided to take a trip with him to see what Vancouver was all about. Because we reserved our trip by getting a travel package from the Internet, we didn’t really have much to worry about in regards to our eight day trip. Our package included a rental car, hotel room and flight, so all we had to do once we arrived in Vancouver was to have as much fun as possible.

I think one of the reasons that I liked Vancouver so much was because of its relaxed atmosphere. Although this was the first long trip that I had taken with my boyfriend, we both stayed stress-free throughout the trip and really had a great time with each other in this Canadian city.

I Can’t Wait to Visit Vancouver

Although it is still several months away, I am already getting excited for my trip to Vancouver. This will be my first time to visit the city of Vancouver. In fact, it will be my first to visit Canada at all. On top of that, I am going to Vancouver with my best friend, so I know that regardless of how much we end up liking Vancouver (even though I think we’re going to like it a lot), we are going to have an amazing time just hanging out with each other.

While everybody has a lot of fun hanging out with their best friend, the reason I’m especially excited to hang out with mine is because we have been living in different cities for the past eight months. Even though she will be moving back within a year (her company opened a new location in a different city, and they chose her to go and make sure that everything gets off the ground smoothly), I have missed having her around. We still talk everyday, but talking on the phone just isn’t as much fun as talking after work over drinks at the bar.

Should You Pay for a Car Rental in Vancouver?

If you are taking a trip to Vancouver in the near future, you are probably spending your time right now making all of the necessary arrangements for your trip. In addition to finding a hotel room to stay in and a flight to get you to Vancouver, one of the other things you need to consider is whether or not you should get a car rental in Vancouver. Even if this hasn’t crossed your mind yet, it’s important to realize that having proper transportation while you are in Vancouver is just as important as having a hotel room and a flight. Without a way to get around while you are in Vancouver, you are not going to have a very enjoyable trip.

From my experience, the only reason that you should consider not getting a rental car is if you are going to Vancouver to visit your family. If you are doing this, chances are they will drive you around or even give you a vehicle to use during your trip. However, other than that possible exception, I really think that everyone visiting Vancouver should get a car rental.

Seeing a Friend in Vancouver

I have noticed that during the past couple of elections, there have been a lot of people who have said that if their candidate loses the election, they are going to leave the United States and move to Canada. The funny thing about all of these statements is that I don’t know a single person who has actually followed through on them. However, I do have a friend who moved to Canada two years ago. It didn’t have anything to do with politics, but he did get promoted to a management position within his company, which required him to transfer to his company’s Vancouver office.

While I had only talked to him through email or over the phone for close to two years, two months ago I decided to actually take a trip to Vancouver to see him in person. I had a couple days off of work (plus the weekend), so I decided it would be a lot of fun to check out Vancouver and also catch up with my friend in person.

Overall, I had a great time during my trip, and I definitely think that Vancouver is a place that I will visit again someday (especially if my friend remains at his Vancouver office).

I’m Taking a Trip Soon

Now that it has been a couple of weeks, I finally feel like I’m getting settled into the New Year. I originally had plans to work very hard from Day One of the New Year, but my friends kept distracting me with their extended New Year’s celebration, so I didn’t get to get back in the swing of things as soon as I wanted. However, I had an incredible time with my friends, and it was well worth waiting to get back on track with work.

Now that I am settling back into a more normal routine, I have realized that I have quite a few things that are going to keep me busy. For example, in just over a month and a half, I am going to be taking a trip for five days. The destination of my trip is Vancouver, and the reason that I’m going there is related to my responsibilities at work.

I have never been to Vancouver before (or Canada for that matter), but I have heard a lot of good things about it, so I am excited to head up there and experience it for myself.
